The Way Last

The Way Last.

This is not bad either.
Leave it to time.
Let things do happen
as they should, in time.
Let me wait, wait and wait.

Let me hope
what comes to my hand
in the end is all gold.
Let this be the way last
which I must try.

Let me apprehend you laugh
but let me also ignore
your laughter.
This is just not your time yet
to follow me or to accept.

after “they lived happily thereafter”

after “they lived happily thereafter”.

Tell me what happens
after many years
when your story is already old
and people surrounding
your youthful days
rejoicing your moments
of victory in love
are all dispersed
in different directions
and you don’t know where
they are all gone!
Do you search
for a shoulder to cry on?
Do you feel yourself
unsafe in a cage
once made up of love?

Folly of a lover boy

Folly of a lover boy.

The boy had something else to tell
about some other girl
as if he was in a hurry to show
an honesty certificate must
to win over her heart.

So directly and indirectly he tried
to say his prelude to the girl.
But where on earth was a girl ever
ready to listen such a song
monotonous?

The boy was dying for the girl
as much as he died once earlier.
If never loved someone in childhood
you won’t understand how
the boy wasn’t doing everything wrong.

Rest is his fate that he loses
his soul mate to a monster called time
and also the girl he loved now
to other monster called common sense
for she had also an illiterate heart.

Sense of humor of time

Sense of humor of time.

Time plays a game with me.
A monetary game.
My wife also knows how well
time plays this game
surprising us with it’s timing
and sense of humor.
Who but time should have
the best sense of timing?
May be your question
because I haven’t told you yet
the story behind.

Today it so happened
I took Rs.4500 for buying books
where I required to spend
Rs.3600 only.
Happily returning the balance
Rs.900 to my wife when I tried
to sit on my wheel chair
for surfing internet
I found the chair was broken.
Soon I had to rush to a mechanic
to get it repaired for the world.

They took Rs.700 for repairing the chair
and Rs.150 was spend on transportation.
My sudden emergency expenses
are always within the sum
remaining as balance in my hand.
This is a good news but
the bad news is
whenever I have some money
I’ll surely have such emergencies too.

Today will be a memorable day tomorrow | Poetry Archive.

The man broken in the mirror is not me.
Must be the mirror which is broken here.
I know ins and out of this man for ages
who hates breaking for any reason whatsoever.

The man who you call a dreamer or even a loser
(in his absence of course) is not an ordinary man.
He has strong faith on his beliefs who believes
even today can be a memorable day tomorrow.

Don’t believe your eyes even if you see him dying,
A dreamer never dies, nor dies his dreams.
You got to believe if he says he has got a dream new
where he’ll make no mistake and a wonder will happen.
